I recently had the opportunity to interview Jennifer A. Goodman to learn five random facts about herself and what she learned from co-creating and starring in the crime thriller pilot “Conrad”. Check out my interview with Jennifer below:
Loryn: What lesson did you learn from co-creating and starring in the crime thriller pilot “Conrad”?
Jennifer: Wow, where to begin with that? Soooo much I would say as someone who is used to kind of running things, I had to really learn to "let go" and trust my team. Which was a great thing because my team is incredible and everything turned out to be amazing, better than I could have imagined. I also had to learn to stop being married to my script and be open to ideas and make changes. This made the project much stronger.
Loryn: How would you describe your upcoming film "The Unseen” in one sentence to fans?
Jennifer: The consequence of our poor actions and others' perspectives that we may not even realize they're experiencing.
Loryn: What advice do you have for an aspiring actress, writer, and producer on the autism spectrum?
Jennifer: To give yourself a chance to succeed before doubting yourself, but trust your gut. You'd be surprised at what you could do if you take the risk and follow your dreams.
Loryn: What was the inspiration behind your latest film, "The Unseen”?
Jennifer: I love horror thrillers, and stories that send a message, and have deep meanings behind the story. Everything I write has some type of deeper story, and a lesson. I love making impacts and inspiring others.
Loryn: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Jennifer: I am an avid skier and have been on skis before I could walk! I love skiing and go every year with my family. Growing up skiing has given me a sense of accomplishment and I love that I was given the opportunity and have enjoyed it so much, that I continue to do it!
